1989 - Ganguly’s Debut in Bengal Cricket Team Sourav Ganguly was always inclined towards cricket. His elder brother Snehashish, who was also cricketer introduced him to the cricket world. While Ganguly was studying in 10 th std he was enrolled in cricket coaching camp where his talent was acknowledged. During his under-15 match against Orissa he scored century. India Vs Bangladesh U19 World Cup Scuffle by Young Cricketers

Bangladesh won the world cup final match on Sunday by 3 wickets (via DLS) at Senwes Park. There was scuffle noted between the youngsters of two team which was disappointing. Players of the two teams were seen pushing and shoving along with abusive words. After Bisham Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev and Mohammad Azharuddin have urge Sourav Ganguli (BCCI Lead) to take strict action against this scuffle. Kapil Dev said, our U19 cricketers behavior was not acceptable, and BCCI should take strict action against them. Below were his words: "I would like to see the Board take some strict action against the players to set an example. Cricket is not about abusing the opponent. I am sure there is enough reason for these youngsters to be dealt with firmly by BCCI" He also added "I welcome aggression. Nothing wrong in it. But it has to be controlled aggression.
