1989 - Ganguly’s Debut in Bengal Cricket Team Sourav Ganguly was always inclined towards cricket. His elder brother Snehashish, who was also cricketer introduced him to the cricket world. While Ganguly was studying in 10 th std he was enrolled in cricket coaching camp where his talent was acknowledged. During his under-15 match against Orissa he scored century. He was made captain of St. Xavier School’s cricket team and landed to the Bengal Cricket Team. 1992 – He Made His ODI Debut Sourav made 3 runs from 13 balls in ODI match against West Indies at Brisbane in 1992. More than his failure his attitude came into focus and he was dropped because of his unprofessional behavior.
