Ashe 2019: Steve Smith scores his 3rd Double Century on 4th Test England vs Australia

After two days of the 4th test ashes series 2019, Steve Smith scored a double century (211 of 319 balls). It's not just that but he has scored 589 runs in three test match in this ashes 2019 series with an average of 147.25. Now Steve Smith became the ICC number 1 test batsmen by surpassing Virat Kohli just by 1 point.

Earlier the match:

Steve Smith was out of the 3rd test due to concussion on the neck from Jofra Archer's bouncer. In the absence of the Steve Smith England however, went to win the 3rd test by just 1 run difference. Though in the first innings Smith was in his 80's if it would have continued we would have seen more runs on the board.

Third Test Match: 

Because of the neck injury happened in the second test match, Steve Smith was rolled out from the 3rd test match. And under medical surveillance when asked about how did he felt when he got hit by the bouncer bowled by Jofra Archer he said for a second he felt like Phillip Hughes.

Fourth Test Match:

While the 4th test 1st innings have come to an end with Steve Smith's great know of 211 from 319 balls. Steve Smith went on to get his 3rd double century in the ashes test match and became the top number one ICC cricket batsmen for test cricket.
