India Will Win the Battle, Says Kapil Dev

Like Virat Kohli, Kapil Dev also urges countrymen to stay indoors in this situation. Staying home has become “lifeline of mankind” amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to Kapil, during the lockdown period which is to stop the spread of diseases, people should follow to stay at home and this is the least they can do to fight the disease which has infected many people across the world.

As per him, you should take it positively and stay at home. You have to challenge yourself to challenge yourself to accept this situation. He says, you have world inside you – your family so spend time with your family, reading books, listening to music. Best is the interaction you have with your family.

All rounder Kapil Dev have taken various tasks at home from sweeping the house, cleaning the garden. He said “My little garden is now my golf also. I am getting to spend so much time with my family. Something that I had missed in the last so many years.”

He also said he sometimes cooks also. His wife Romi also joins him in doing so and both of them take turns to do dishes.

The 1983 World Cup winning captain believes we will come out of this situation. India has always fought together to deal with crisis. He said, India’s strength lies in our culture. We should take care of each other and help your elders. We can together win the battle by supporting our government and our doctors by staying at home.
